Project Description
Since 2001 JIG group has been present in the Spanish market offering to our clients Internet, outsourcing of services, e-commerce and mobility solutions aimed to improve their efficiency and boosting their business. Since our establishment we have been working side by side with them to fully understand their needs and this is why they consider us their technological partners instead of their suppliers.
Over the last 14 years, we have collaborated with more than 50 satisfied clients from both private and public sector. Not only we have assisted Spanish city councils with their city apps, but also we have developed management solutions for public entities as libraries or sport centres. With regards of the private sector, we have provided tailor-made solutions for the most important wine cellars in Spain, as well as retailers and hotels.
JIG success resides in the synergies, expertise and tight collaboration of these three divisions: JIG Easy Services which provides intelligent services management solutions regarding building installations, maintenance, security, safety and others for public and private facilities as libraries, sport and education centres. JIG Internet Consulting that brings Internet solutions to our customers concerning web developing, online positioning, e-commerce and online marketing. And Get-App Spain that offers top-quality apps for mobiles and tablets, which allow JIG clients to differ from their competitors and improve their services.
Our group’s (the 3 companies) annual turnover rises over 3.1 M€ and we have seen increased our business volume in a 169% in the last four years. Our headquarters are located in Logroño (Spain) and our facilities cover more than 300 m2. Over 135 people constitute our staff and it is their technical capacities, motivation, experience and commitment that let us achieve our goals.
In early 2014 we were invited to join FIWARE initiative as a member of the consortium, which aims to create a free and royalty-free set of apps and resources. In 2014 the App in which we base the SmartPlatformCity project obtained the world-famous recognition of being the “Most innovative App and Greatest Potential Application” at the FIWARE Smart Cities Challenge in Brazil competing with other 423 apps from 23 countries.
