Project Description
Oslo & Akershus University College of Applied Sciences (HiOA) is Norway’s largest state university college with approximately 16 000 students and more than 1 850 employees. HiOA offers a variety of study programmes at bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degree levels, as well as further education. Our goal is to prepare students for professional careers by offering the best educational programmes in Norway based on high scientific quality and vocational relevance. The participants of this proposal are members of the Faculty of Technology, Art and Design. They has long experience in the field of Networking, Distributed Systems, Software Methodology, Semantic Web, and security issues. The by-design end-to-end safety and security framework proposed by this project is within the area of our research interests. Several objectives of the project are important areas of the research activities at HiOA. Since research is a key activity in a university college, we see the potential of improvement in our education by relating the research activities to our education.
