Project Description
Nokia is a leading manufacturer of mobile network infrastructure equipment and software, focusing in the project on protecting networks and operator infrastructures and clouds. While the use of cloud computing and such new paradigms as Software Defined Networking help improve the efficient use of hardware resources, novel attack vectors targeting virtualized components and systems will emerge and need to be dealt with. With recent acquisition of Alcatel-Lucent, Nokia Research have been integrated into Bell Labs, a research institution which produced many Nobel Prize winners.
